WELCOME!

The Department of Theatre and Film at the University of Winnipeg offers a full program of Undergraduate and pre-professional training for theatre and film artists and practitioners. The program includes the opportunity to obtain a B.A. (General) or a B.A. (Honours) in one or more of six different concentrations: acting and directing; design; drama in education; filmmaking; playwriting; and stage management and production. Coursework encompasses a full range of practical and theoretical study in all areas.

HONOURS AUDITIONS for 2018-19

  • Audition Dates: Saturday and Sunday, April 28 and 29, 2018
  • Students interested in entering the Honours Program in performance for the 2018-19 academic year must first audition and then must meet the Honours academic standard.
  • There are a limited number of spaces available and so it is recommended that you plan and register early.
  • Note: Your Webadvisor GPA does NOT reflect your Honours standing. Feel free to ask us!
