Students are advised that many courses in Theatre and Film are physically demanding requiring varying levels of movement and verbal skills and/or the capacity to work cooperatively and reliably in group or partnered situations.

Where issues of mobility, cognition, or the ability to work in group situations may have the potential to undermine a studentís success or place them or others at risk of injury, permission for the course may be required. Students are directed to consult the instructor or a departmental representative in advance of registration. Where participation in the class is not possible, an alternative may be recommended.

For further informaton please contact a departmental representative at 204-786-9955 or theatre.uwinnipeg.ca.

Please also note the following important information for all classes:

  • When it is necessary to cancel a class due to exceptional circumstances, instructors will make every effort to inform you via UWinnipeg email, as well as the departmental assistant and Chair/Dean so that class cancellation forms can be posted outside classrooms.
  • Please note that withdrawing before the VW date does not necessarily result in a fee refund.
  • Class make-up days are scheduled at the end of term for courses that conflict with holidays:
